12×12 (on-going)

The series is an on-going portraiture project that I started in September 2020.

It’s known that some people don’t like their photo taken and others love it. The project is a study about how people move, feel and react in front of the camera. The process is simple, I let the subjects know what lighting, distance and frame they have with the camera and they have total freedom to do what they want while I shoot until they decide to stop.

The result is presented in individual contact sheets of 12 images per person. The project is called 12×12 cause of the 12 images contact sheet presentation. I’m hoping to photograph 144 (12×12).
